Well our show season officially started off with the Nebraska Big Buck Classic, the last weekend of January. Annetta, Jesse, our niece Lynn, and I were off to Omaha Nebraska. We were pumped to be able to display our newly wrapped truck and trailer at the show.
Along with a variety of interesting and informative seminars, the Big Buck classic also put on a celebrity 3D bow shoot, “Shoot With The Stars”. I was in it to compete but felt a little intimidated pulling out my old hunting bow as the other shooters pulled out their target bows. My partner and I, Kriss Tripp, had a lot of fun going up against several other teams. Each team included a celebrity paired up with a competition 3D shooter, these folks could flat shoot! The competition was tuff, but Kriss kept us in it with her experience and nerves of steel and I just shot as if I was in my tree stand. We ended up getting second place behind the Lee Lakosky team and barely ahead of the Tiffany Lakosky team.

I had a chance to talk about one of my favorite things, turkey hunting, during my seminars on decoy set up. The audiences that attended my seminars participated and made them very entertaining. Can’t wait to do it again.
